First let me say that I believe that Vitamark is a very solid MLM company and I am sure they have a lot of great products in the health and wellness industry. But I am tired of hearing the Mentoring for Free (MFF) folks claim they will help anyone build their organization for free regardless of what company they are in. I believe in always being 100% honest with people, sometimes to a fault. So let's be honest here, most, if not all, of the people who are in MFF are Vitamark consultants. So why not be upfront and honest with folks and tell them that MFF is a tool used to promote and build Vitamark? Isn't that really what it is?
Don't get me wrong, I think they have some great training and tools they give you are top notch, but in reality most companies could not use this system to build their organization because most companies do not hit the five pillars as discussed in MFF. This does not mean they are not viable network marketing companies where you could be successful. It is true, they will mentor you for free. You can get all of their training materials and listen in on all of the training calls. There is definitely some value in a lot of what they teach. But what they will not teach you is how to market and promote your company.
In reality other marketing systems like Magnetic Sponsoring, Renegade Network Marketer, MLM Lead System Pro are more useful in building ANY MLM company than MFF. Think about it, all of these systems, including MFF, will teach you attraction marketing, but only MFF points out the reasons why their company is better than yours.
If you are interested in the Health and Wellness industry, then by all means take a look at Vitamark, as I have said they are a well established company with some great leaders. If you choose to join Vitamark you should definitely use MFF as a tool to build your business. But don't join MFF thinking you will be able to use it to market and build any MLM organization.

Social Networking - There has to be a better way.
Like many, I have been bitten by the social networking bug. I spend countless hours on Facebook reuniting with old friends from high school and college as well as connecting with new contacts for my business. Many network marketers are using Facebook as part of an attraction marketing campaign to build their businesses. The problem I see is that everyone is really doing the same things. They make new friend contacts, create a group, invite those friends to join that group and then send out messages and postings promoting their company or marketing system. But none of them are really unique. There has to be a better way to use this and other social network sites to build your primary business.
I am currently in a business that has a product that is only available in certain geographical locations. Each of these locations has Facebook groups of tens of thousands of people. If I could find a way to tap into these groups and get a mere fraction of the members interested in what I am doing, it could be huge. I have begun contacting some of the administrators of these groups to see if I can create some interest in my company and the income potential it provides. Of course in my mind the product is a complete no brainer. The consumer is not required to spend any additional money every month, in fact, they will spend less and it costs them absolutely nothing to try out my service.
I have not gotten any response on this yet, positive or negative, but I am going to continue to plug away until I know it won't work. Wish me luck.

Why Am I So Impatient?
I have decided to start using this blog to keep track of some of the trials and tribulations I am having in growing my business. I am doing this for a couple of reasons. I want to have a written record to look back on when I have become incredibly wealthy and people ask me how I got here. More importantly I want those of you watching my blog to realize that you are not alone in the frustrations that you are experiencing.
Today I want to talk a little bit about an attribute that I am lacking in and that is patience. In our world of fast food, drive through pharmacies, and high speed internet, the concept of network marketing just does not fit. We live in a microwave world and building a MLM organization is more like a crock pot. I guess I have to remember that food cooked in a crock pot usually has more flavor than stuff that comes out of the microwave.
I have been spending a lot of time on some network marketing forums as well as social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace, but don't seem to be making much headway. I have made a few good contacts, but what I seem to find is other networkers in the same boat that I am. This got me to thinking. Surely there are people not in the MLM industry that have the same dream that we all do. Everyone wants to make a ton of money, travel the world, drive a nice car, live in a nice house and have zero debt. Those of us in MLM know this is the perfect vehicle to get us there. But what about those that are not in this industry. If there was an effective way to contact those people using some of the same attraction marketing techniques we use to attract fellow MLMers, I think you would be able to grow your primary business much quicker. But, how do we reach them without coming across as pushy?
I am experimenting with a couple of things on right now that hopefully will become hugely successful in helping me find these types of people. I will keep you updated as they progress.
I will continue to network with others like me as it keeps me energized about what I am doing and more importantly why I am doing it and perhaps one day we will actually work together.

Free MLM Marketing Strategy – Free Classifieds
If you are reading this article than you are in the same boat I was. You are in a network marketing company (or MLM) and are struggling to make it work. You joined your company with high hopes and aspirations only to find out it was not as easy as your sponsor led you to believe. You don’t have a lot (if any) money to spend on advertising and are searching for some low cost or free ways to build your business.
There are several great ways to build your business that are completely free in terms of money, but will take some time and effort. Keep in mind there is a cost associated with every effective means of marketing. If it is to be effective, it will either cost you money or time. There is no free lunch.
One of my favorite forms of free advertising that I use to build my MLM is Free Classifieds. When used properly you can generate some very highly targeted leads for both your business as well as your product.
There are literally hundreds if not thousands of free classified sites on the web, but the two I have found to be most effective are Craig’s List and Backpage.com. Craig’s List is by far the most viewed classified site on the internet, and the one I have had the most success with. They are somewhat restrictive in the number of ads you can place and you will have to get creative to work around this. There are software programs you can purchase that will post ads for you, but we are discussing free marketing.
To be effective on Craig’s list, you will need to set up several e-mail accounts and if possible, post ads from several different computers. For e-mail accounts, I use gmail and set up Outlook so I can check all my accounts at the same time. I have found that you can post between 6-10 ads from the same computer before Craigslist’s spam filter catches them and removes them.
You will want to create 5-10 ads that you rotate posting. These ads can be similar in content, but should each be unique as to get past the spam filter. I post ads at least 5 days a week and leave them up for 2 days.
You will need to experiment with the best place to put your ads. I have had limited success posting under Business Opportunities, but the leads I have gotten from this section have been high quality. Placing ads in the job section will get you a lot of response, but you will get a lot of people who are not interested in an income opportunity, only a paycheck. I have also placed ads in other sections that have nothing to do with a job or a business opportunity, but receive high traffic, such as the electronics for sale section. These ads will get flagged and removed, but my experience has shown that the leads that respond to them are very interested.
The most important piece of advice I can give you is to be persistent. Place your ads every day and don’t give up when you don’t get any response for several days. When this happens, change your ad, place it in a different section, market in a different city, but don’t give up. I know people who have built their entire MLM organization, by placing 2 ads a day on Craig’s List for a year.
